The travertine — with its characteristic open pores and warm beige tones — glows from within when lit, casting a warm 3000K light as the stone's natural translucency lets the glow pass through. The dark walnut-finish band provides a contemporary frame for the stone, preventing the fixture from reading as merely decorative. Hung as a pair or a group from a ceiling bar, the composition becomes a horizontal architecture above the table — a quiet procession of light and stone.
