DESCRIPTION
A Dome Cast in Light and Shadow
The Cadrix begins as a soft, hand-moulded shell of fiberglass — worked by hand until its surface takes on the quiet, uneven texture of raw plaster. Hung low above a table or set adrift in an entryway, it reads first as sculpture, and only second as light. Switch it on, and the room shifts: a warm, amber glow spills from beneath the dome, catching every wall it touches.
Hand-Moulded, Then Gilded by Hand
Where most pendants are stamped from a mould and finished in a day, the Cadrix is shaped slowly. Its fiberglass shell is worked into form, then its lower edge is finished with genuine gold leaf, applied by hand in loose, irregular strokes — no two edges catch the light in quite the same way. It's this imperfection, more than any single feature, that gives the Cadrix its character.
The Gilded Underside
Look up into the Cadrix and you'll find its real secret: a ragged border of gold leaf lining the inside of the dome, built specifically to scatter light rather than aim it. Instead of a single beam, you get a diffused wash of gold-tinted warmth — the kind of glow that makes a dinner table, a reading corner, or a hallway feel considered rather than simply lit.
Two Finishes, One Silhouette
Choose Ash Grey for a quieter, more architectural presence, or White for a softer, brighter read against the ceiling. Both share the same gilded underside — the exterior finish sets the mood, the gold does the rest.
Available in Four Sizes
The Cadrix comes in 30cm, 40cm, 50cm and 60cm diameters, from an intimate accent over a nightstand to a statement piece anchoring a dining table or entrance hall.
Bring Your Own Light
The Cadrix takes a standard E27 bulb (not included), so you decide the mood — warm candlelight, crisp daylight, or something in between. Pair it with a dimmable bulb for full control over the atmosphere. Installation is simple: an adjustable cord and ceiling canopy are included, with light assembly required on arrival.
