A Silhouette Borrowed from Old-World Lanterns

Before electricity, glass lanterns like this one lit French hallways and stairwells with a soft, diffused glow. Silvalis revives that silhouette: a fluted, melon-shaped shade in opal glass, its ribbed panels catching the light along each curve. It reads as sculptural whether lit or dark, equally suited to a single drop over a breakfast table or hung in pairs down a hallway.

Opal Glass, Aged Brass

The shade is finished in a soft, semi-translucent glaze, offered in a cool emerald green or a warm milk white, capped top and bottom by an aged-brass fitting and a hand-cast ceiling medallion with a fine botanical relief. It's the kind of pairing found in turn-of-the-century fixtures — nothing plastic, nothing throwaway, just glass and metal built to be looked at.

Two Sizes, One Considered Shape

Silvalis comes in two proportions: a compact 25cm version suited to a single pendant over a nightstand or reading corner, and a fuller 38cm version built to anchor a kitchen island or dining table on its own. Both share the same rigid brass stem, with drop length adjustable at install to suit your ceiling height.

Warm, Cool, or In Between

Choose the colour temperature that suits your room — a warm amber glow for a bedroom, a cooler white for a kitchen, or a 3-step tunable option if you'd rather decide once it's hung. An E14 socket accepts your preferred LED bulb, and a discreet touch switch on the canopy handles on/off.

Ready to Install

Silvalis mounts to a standard ceiling box with its cast brass canopy, runs on a universal 90-260V circuit, and carries CE and RoHS certification. Simply fit your E14 bulb and hang.
