A Sphere of Soft, Diffused Light

Some fixtures announce themselves with hard edges and polished metal. The Mwaelinth does the opposite. Its ribbed paper globe hangs with quiet weightlessness, softening every room it enters. Rooted in the mid-century dialogue between Japanese craft and Scandinavian minimalism, it reads as pure geometry by day and dissolves into warm, glowing light by night.

Ribbed Paper, Handcrafted Texture

Each shade is built from fine ribbed paper stretched over a flexible wire armature, finished with the kind of hand-pleated detailing that machine-made shades can't replicate. The result is a surface animated by fine horizontal lines and soft seams — texture that catches ambient daylight and, once lit, radiates a gentle, even glow with no visible hotspots.

Eight Sizes, One Silhouette

From an intimate 30cm accent to a monumental 120cm statement piece, the Mwaelinth keeps its proportions disciplined at every scale. Hang a cluster of small spheres above a reading corner, or let a single 100–120cm globe anchor a double-height stairwell or open-plan living space. The silhouette never changes — only the presence it commands.

Warm, Uncomplicated Light

An E27 socket sits at the base, ready for the incandescent-style bulb of your choice — so you decide the exact warmth of the glow, from soft amber to crisp white. Running on a universal 90–260V circuit with a simple inline push-button switch, it's a fixture built for effortless daily use rather than complicated controls.

Considered, Lightweight Installation

Despite its sculptural scale, the Mwaelinth is remarkably light. It arrives with a compact ceiling canopy and cord suspension that adjusts to your ceiling height, making installation straightforward even for the largest 120cm size. Give it space to breathe — a little distance from the ceiling lets the sphere's full form and glow come through.
