A Fragment of Stone, Lit From Within

Welvion begins as a simple gesture: a circle of natural stone, its surface left honest and unpolished, mounted flush against the wall. By day it reads as pure sculpture—a quiet disc of texture and mineral variation. By night, a soft halo of light escapes from behind its edge, and the stone seems to hover, weightless, above the wall.

Light That Traces the Edge

Rather than shining outward, Welvion's LED is hidden entirely behind the stone, washing the wall in a warm 3000K glow that spills gently around the disc's perimeter. The effect is closer to an eclipse than a lamp—indirect, diffused, and easy on the eye at any hour. There is no glare to soften, no bulb to hide; only the halo, and the silence around it.

Three Sizes, One Gesture

Available in three diameters—20, 25 and 30 cm—Welvion adapts its scale without losing its restraint. The smallest suits a bedside wall as an intimate reading glow; the largest anchors an entryway or living room as a standalone piece of quiet architecture. Each version sits just 45 mm off the wall, close enough to feel inevitable.

Wabi-Sabi, Honestly Made

Cast from natural stone rather than printed or painted to imitate it, Welvion carries the irregularities that only real material can offer—faint veining, subtle tonal shifts, a texture that catches low light differently from every angle. No two pieces are perfectly alike, which is precisely the point: this is an object made in the spirit of wabi-sabi, where imperfection is the mark of authenticity.

Considered Placement

Welvion belongs wherever a wall needs presence without noise—flanking a bed, marking an entrance, punctuating a hallway, or standing alone on an otherwise bare living room wall. It pairs naturally with linen, raw wood, and other unlacquered materials, and asks for very little in return: a single wall connection, and a wall willing to hold its glow.
