Description
A Sphere Painted with Colour
Some pendants whisper. Floriva speaks. Its perfectly round silhouette is hand-finished in bold painted stripes that wrap the glass from crown to base, turning a simple globe into a piece of kinetic art. Off, it reads as a sculptural object in its own right. Lit, the colour becomes luminous, casting a warm graphic glow that changes the character of the entire room.
Blown Glass, Hand-Striped
Beneath the colour is genuine glass — smooth, glossy, and satisfying to look at from any angle. Each stripe is hand-painted onto the surface, so no two globes are perfectly identical, a quiet nod to the handmade process behind an otherwise graphic, modern object. The globe is finished with a slim brass-toned canopy and cap, a detail that grounds the playful shade in something more refined.
Two Patterns, Three Colours
Floriva comes in two stripe directions — a clean vertical Straight pattern, and a spiralling Diagonal twist that adds movement to the sphere — each available in Green, Red, or Yellow. It's a rare chance to bring real colour into a lighting scheme without losing the sense of restraint that makes a piece feel considered rather than costume-like.
A Glow Without Shadows
Switched on, the painted glass diffuses the light evenly across the entire globe, with the painted stripes reading as soft shadow-lines against the glowing background. Choose a cool white bulb for a crisp, contemporary feel, or warm white for a cosier, amber-toned atmosphere — both are included with an E27 fitting, ready to install.
Sized for Every Space
Available in three diameters — 20 cm, 25 cm, and 30 cm — Floriva scales from an intimate bedside or reading-nook pendant to a genuine statement piece over a dining table or kitchen island. Hung solo or clustered in odd numbers at staggered heights, it rewards a bit of curatorial confidence.
Where It Belongs
Floriva suits spaces that aren't afraid of personality — a colourful dining nook, a child's room with a design-forward eye, a boutique retail interior, or a kitchen that wants one unapologetically joyful moment. It pairs naturally with warm woods, brass hardware, and other pieces that treat colour as a design decision rather than an accident.
