A plank of wood overhead, three bulbs dangling below — the ceiling light as workshop poetry.

The Beam & The Bulb

Silvano mounts a solid natural wood beam horizontally to the ceiling via a white or black metal plate, and suspends three pendant lamp holders below it — each cord coiled in a decorative spiral around the beam before dropping freely to the bare E27 globe below. The result is both utilitarian and deliberate: the exposed filament bulbs cast warm pools of light, and the wood and the coil add crafted texture.

Industrial Scandi

Natural wood beam — warm grain, solid and slightly rough
White fittings — softer, more Scandi
Black fittings — more industrial, more graphic
Three bulbs at even spacing — good for tables up to 120cm wide

Where to Use

Above a kitchen island or dining table — the bare bulb format suits open-plan spaces where visible hardware is part of the aesthetic. In a workshop-style office, studio, or café.
