A dome of light, a stem of chrome, a disc of glass — the quiet grammar of Bauhaus design, distilled.

An Icon, Reconsidered

The Jasel takes its cue from the Bauhaus design language of the 1920s: pure geometric forms, honest materials, nothing decorative for decoration's sake. A hemispherical opal glass shade sits atop a slender chrome column, anchored by a disc of glass at the base. It is the kind of object that looks equally at home in a minimalist study or a mid-century living room.

Opal Glass, Warm Glow

The hand-finished opal glass shade diffuses light into a soft, even wash rather than a single glaring point — the kind of warm white glow that flatters a room in the evening, without ever feeling clinical. Perfect for a reading corner, a bedside table, or a console where ambience matters more than brightness.

Chrome and Glass, in Balance

The polished chrome stem catches the light along its length, while the tempered glass base grounds the piece with quiet transparency. A tactile pull-chain switch — rather than a hidden button — brings a small ritual to turning the lamp on, true to the object's origins.

A Compact Presence

At 18 cm across the shade and 36 cm tall, the Jasel is sized to sit comfortably on a nightstand, desk, or sideboard without dominating the surface — substantial enough to feel considered, compact enough to go anywhere.

Considered Details

Built from chrome-plated metal, opal glass and tempered glass, the Jasel is finished to be looked at as closely as it lights a room — a small, permanent fixture of good taste.
