A Petal of Light, Cast in Ceramic

Cuprano takes its cue from the quiet elegance of hand-thrown ceramics. Each shade is fired into a soft, undulating silhouette—equal parts petal and pleat—so that light doesn't simply shine downward, it spills outward in gentle folds. Suspended from a slender braided cord, it reads as sculpture first, fixture second.

Copper Warmth Meets Quiet Craft

The ceramic shade sits in a solid brass fitting, its warm patina deepening with age rather than dulling. It's a pairing that feels distinctly Nordic: raw material honesty over ornament, built to be looked at as much as switched on.

Three Silhouettes, One Idea

Cuprano comes in three closely related forms. The Fluted Fan holds a crisp, radial pleat at 20 x 20cm. The Wavy Petal softens the same idea into a looser, leaf-like curve at 23 x 10.5cm. And Wavy Petal — Wood Grip adds a hand-turned wood accent at the canopy, at 23.5 x 11cm, for a touch of warmth where metal meets ceiling.

A Glow Meant to Linger

Left bare, the exposed bulb flickers gently through the shade's open underside—an intentional, unfussy kind of light. It suits a single pendant over a nightstand or a pair hung side by side, echoing and doubling the effect.

Wherever Light Needs to Feel Intentional

Hang it above a bedside table in place of a lamp, over a reading corner, or as a soft accent at the end of a hallway. With a 150cm adjustable cord, Cuprano drops exactly where you need it—low and close, the way good ambient light should.

Made to Age Beautifully

Ceramic holds its form indefinitely; brass only grows richer with time. Cuprano is designed as a long-term fixture, not a seasonal one—quietly present in a room for years before it starts to feel truly at home.
