Stone, Quietly Overhead

Petrano brings a rare material moment to the ceiling plane: a solid drum of natural travertine, its surface marked by the soft pitting and mineral veining that define centuries-old quarried stone. Fitted flush against the ceiling, it reads less like an add-on than an inset detail — a single sculptural note above a hallway, entryway, or dining table.

Travertine's Honest Texture

Every block of travertine carries its own history: fine pores, faint striations, subtle traces left by centuries of mineral deposit. Petrano's drum is cut, ground, and hand-polished to reveal this texture rather than disguise it — no two fixtures are ever quite identical, and that variation is the point.

A Warm, Diffused Glow

An integrated LED panel sits recessed within the stone ring, casting a warm white light downward through a softly frosted lens. There is no glare and no visible source — only an even wash of light that settles a room rather than announcing itself.

Compact, Considered Proportions

At 20 cm in diameter and just 10 cm deep, with a 10 cm oak ceiling mount, Petrano sits close to the ceiling without asking for height — ideal for corridors, low ceilings, and thresholds where a pendant would feel like too much.

Built for Everyday Permanence

A solid oak collar bridges the stone to the ceiling plate, a quiet material contrast that softens the drum's weight. Simple to keep: a wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all Petrano ever asks.
