A polished sphere balanced on a plump disc of stone — an abacus, reimagined as light.

Two Forms, One Balance

Selvane pairs a single dark, mirror-polished sphere with a broad, rounded disc of natural marble — two simple geometries stacked in quiet tension, like a bead resting on a stone. The pairing is deliberately spare: no ornament, no extra hardware, just the honest meeting of metal and mineral suspended on a slim black cord.

Stone With a Warm Interior

Cut from natural marble, each shade carries its own drift of grey and blush veining across an ivory ground — no two pieces read quite the same. Lit, the stone loses its coolness entirely: light finds the thin edges and soft striations of the marble and turns them honeyed and glowing, while the sphere above stays dark and reflective, catching the room around it.

Compact, Considered Scale

At 15 cm across, Selvane reads as an accent rather than a centrepiece — sized for a bedside table, a narrow hallway, a bar top, or grouped in a cluster of two or three over a console. Small enough to repeat, substantial enough to hold its own alone.

Simple to Live With

An E27 fitting sits behind the sphere, and the cord can be adjusted at installation to set the exact drop. Left unlit, Selvane still holds its own — a quiet piece of stone sculpture hanging in the room.

Individually Veined, Naturally Unique

Because the shade is cut from real stone rather than cast or printed, the veining, tone, and translucency of each piece varies slightly — this natural variation is expected, and it's exactly what keeps a stone pendant from ever looking mass-produced.
