A Form Borrowed from Nature
Dune takes its name from the shape it wears: a low, asymmetric dome that curves and dips like sand shifted by wind, or a stone worn smooth by water over years. There is no straight edge here, no hard corner — only a single continuous sweep that catches light differently from every angle. It is wabi-sabi made literal: beauty found in irregularity, in the imperfect and the unrepeatable.
A Surface You Can Feel From Across the Room
The shade is finished in a hand-applied, granular resin texture that reads like sun-baked clay or aged plaster — rough to the touch, but soft in the way it scatters light. No two fixtures are ever quite identical, each carrying subtle variations that come only from handwork, not a mould. Beneath the shade, a single exposed bulb glows against the smooth inner surface, casting a warm pool of light downward and a gentle wash across the ceiling above.
Three Earthbound Finishes
Dune is offered in Ivory White, for a soft, gallery-like presence against pale walls; Umber Brown, warm and mineral, closer to raw earth or aged bread crust; and Ash Grey, quiet and architectural, at home in more contemporary interiors. Cluster two or three together at staggered heights — as shown above a dining table or a bed — and the irregular silhouettes begin to read almost like a still-life of stones.
Sized for Every Space
From an intimate 40 cm bedside shade to a sweeping 120 cm statement piece anchoring a dining table, Dune spans six sizes so the same design can work as a single reading-nook pendant or a sculptural cluster over an island. Each fixture takes a single E27 bulb (not included) on a cord that adjusts up to 150 cm, with an iron ceiling canopy finished to resist rust and wear.
Considered Down to the Light Itself
Choose between warm white and cool white light temperature at checkout, so the fixture suits either a soft, layered living space or a brighter, more functional room. Wired for universal 90–260V circuits, Dune is built to work quietly in the background — present in form, effortless in use.
