A Study in Wabi-Sabi Restraint
Helion begins with a simple idea: light that feels handmade, imperfect, and alive. Each shade is hand-woven from natural rattan around a slender iron frame, its surface catching shadow and warmth in equal measure. Where mass-produced fixtures aim for uniformity, Helion embraces the quiet irregularity of craft — the philosophy at the heart of wabi-sabi, where beauty is found in the unpolished and the organic.
An Hourglass Silhouette, Woven by Hand
The signature shape — two woven cylinders pinched at a twisted rattan waist — gives Helion a sculptural presence even when unlit. Look closely and no two strands sit quite the same way; the weave shifts subtly from piece to piece, the mark of work done by hand rather than machine. By evening, light filters softly through the open weave, casting a warm, dappled glow across walls and ceilings that no closed shade could achieve.
Three Ways to Compose the Room
Helion is offered in three configurations. As a Single Pendant, it drops cleanly from one point — ideal beside a bed or above a reading corner. As a Round Cluster of three staggered heads suspended from a single ceiling plate, it becomes a sculptural centerpiece over a dining table or kitchen island. As a Linear Cluster, three pendants hang from one bar at matching lengths, tracing a quiet rhythm above a long table or counter.
Seven Sizes, One Sculptural Language
The Single Pendant runs from a compact 55 cm drop to a dramatic 150 cm silhouette, its woven shade widening gently from 21 cm to 30 cm as it grows. The Round and Linear Clusters scale from 55 cm to 100 cm, so the composition can be tuned to ceiling height and table size without losing its balance.
Ready for Everyday Living
Each shade is fitted with a standard E27 socket — one per pendant — and runs on a universal 90–260V circuit, so Helion travels well from home to home. Bulbs are sold separately, letting you choose your own tone; a warm 2700–3000K LED brings out the amber depth of the rattan best, the glow seen throughout these photographs. An inline switch and ceiling canopy are included, ready for straightforward installation.
