The Cavix takes its form from nature and its material from the earth itself. A slender, gold-finished branch rises from a weighted round base and opens into a canopy of delicate limbs — each one tipped with a genuine agate stone slice, cut thin enough to glow when the light behind it switches on.
Genuine Agate, Never Two Alike
Every leaf is a real slice of natural agate, dyed in a spectrum of jewel tones and polished to a soft translucency. Because the stone is natural, no two branches — and no two lamps — are ever quite identical, giving the Cavix the quiet, one-of-one quality of a found object rather than a mass-produced fixture.
Warm, Considered Illumination
Small integrated light points are woven through the branches, so the glow doesn't come from a single bulb but filters through the agate itself — warm, diffused, and gently coloured by the stone it passes through. Switched on at dusk, it throws soft fractured light and shadow across the nearest wall; by day, it reads simply as sculpture.
Brass-Finished Branches, Sculptural Form
The structure is built on a gold-finished metal armature, weighted at the base for stability and finished with the same attention along every branch. It is freestanding — no mounting, no hardwiring — just place it and plug it in.
