Three Shapes, One Pure Material

The Meridox pendant takes an unusual approach to versatility: rather than offering a single shape in multiple sizes, it presents three entirely distinct glass forms within the same family. The 20CM variant rises as a tall cylinder — composed, upright, suited to linear clusters. The 26CM takes a softer, more rounded silhouette, wider than it is tall, with a lantern-like quality. The 30CM flattens further into a wide oblate disc, close to the ceiling line, perfect for low-ceilinged rooms where presence is needed without bulk. Each is made from the same ribbed opal glass with the same matte black fitting and gold accent ring — unified in material, distinct in form.

Ribbed Opal Glass

The shade is blown from opal glass with a vertical ribbed texture that runs the full height of the form. When unlit, the glass appears clean and white, with a slightly frosted translucency. When lit, the LED warm lamp diffuses evenly through the material, causing each rib to glow with a gentle gradient from bright at the source to soft at the edge. The effect is softer and more atmospheric than smooth glass, and the ribbing gives the shade a sculptural quality visible from every angle. A thin gold ring trim at the socket junction adds a subtle high-end detail that catches light without drawing attention away from the shade.

Matte Black Fitting

The canopy, stem, and socket holder are finished in a matte black powder-coat. The black is warm rather than cold — more graphite than jet — making it compatible with both dark and light interiors. A slim gold ring separates the socket from the glass, creating a visual break that references mid-century and Scandinavian design languages without replicating them directly. The black textile cable is adjustable up to 80 cm from the Ø10 cm ceiling canopy, allowing height customisation without exposed hardware.

Warm or Cool White

The Meridox is available with either Warm White or Cool White lighting. Warm White (3000 K) suits bedrooms, dining rooms, and living spaces where a golden, intimate glow is preferred. Cool White (6000 K) is better suited to kitchen islands, workspaces, or contemporary interiors where a crisper, more neutral light is desired. The light colour is fixed at purchase — the Meridox does not support on-the-fly colour switching, and is not dimmable, making it best suited to spaces with existing dimmer infrastructure or where a consistent light level is preferred.

Installation and Pairing

The Meridox installs via a standard pendant ceiling mount, with a Ø10 cm canopy plate. It takes an E27 bulb (not included; max 40 W), giving flexibility to choose your own light output and temperature. For dining tables, the 30CM version works well as a triple cluster — as shown — suspended at staggered heights over a long table. For bedrooms, a pair of 20CM cylinders makes an elegant bedside alternative to table lamps. The 26CM lantern sits well as a single pendant in smaller rooms: reading corners, entryways, and home offices.
