Warehouse Iron, Reimagined for the Home
The Forgeron pendant carries the unmistakable weight of early-industrial lighting — the kind once found in machine shops and rail depots, now recast for kitchens, dining tables, and loft interiors. Cast in solid iron and steel, each fixture is finished by hand to develop the kind of surface character that only comes with genuine metalwork: matte black planes, brushed brass accents, and a weathered patina that looks decades old on day one.
Five Silhouettes, One Workshop Language
Rather than a single shape in different colours, Forgeron is offered across five distinct forms drawn from a century of factory lighting: a wide 36cm Saucer Shade with a brass fitting, a deep 36cm Barn Dome on a tapered gunmetal neck, a 27cm Wire Cage shade with an exposed bulb guard, a 32cm Chain-Hung Dome suspended from an industrial valve-wheel bracket, and a 36cm Weathered Patina saucer with a naturally aged, rust-toned finish. Each stands on its own; together they read as a coherent family.
Bring Your Own Bulb, Set Your Own Mood
Forgeron ships without a bulb, by design — it is built around a standard E27 socket so you can choose the glow that suits your space. Pair it with a warm 2700–3000K Edison-style filament bulb for the classic amber warehouse look shown here, or run it cooler and brighter for a more utilitarian read. The fixture runs on universal 90–260V current, so it is ready wherever you install it.
Where It Earns Its Keep
Hang the Saucer or Barn Dome low over a kitchen island, cluster two or three Wire Cage shades above a dining table, or use the Chain-Hung Dome as a single, sculptural drop in an entryway. The Weathered Patina finish leans especially well into farmhouse and reclaimed-wood interiors, while the cleaner black models sit comfortably in more contemporary loft spaces.
Built to Install Once and Forget
Every version mounts to a simple ceiling canopy, with a 120cm cord or chain that can be trimmed or adjusted on site to match your ceiling height. The finish is baked on to resist scuffing and tarnish, so the fixture keeps its character through years of daily use rather than fading into a generic black shade.
