Varodrix takes its shape from a single, arresting idea: a material caught in the instant before it settles, as if molten glass had frozen mid-drip. The shade's surface ripples and folds like liquid stone, catching every angle of light differently depending on where you stand. It reads less like a fixture and more like a small sculptural object that happens to illuminate — equally at home as a solitary accent or arranged in a considered pair.
Warm Light Through Textured Acrylic
Beneath the organic surface, a single bulb glows through hand-finished cast acrylic, diffusing into a soft, amber-toned wash rather than a hard point of light. By day the shade sits as a quiet sculptural pebble on the wall; after dark it becomes a warm, atmospheric glow that softens the edges of a room.
Four Finishes, One Sculptural Silhouette
Varodrix is available in Chrome, Gold, Rose Gold, and Smoke Grey — each shade paired with an electroplated iron backplate finished to a mirror-reflective shine that resists corrosion and everyday wear. The four tones let the same silhouette read as cool and architectural, or warm and jewel-like, depending on the room it enters.
Two Sizes, Considered Proportions
Choose the Small (Ø20 × H22cm, E14 base) for a tight cluster above a console or along a hallway, or the Large (Ø28 × H30cm, E27 base) as a standalone statement beside a bed or entryway. Each size is calibrated to comfortably light 3–8m² and 5–10m² respectively, so the scale always matches the space.
Simple to Install, Built to Last
Varodrix mounts flush to the wall on a compact two-screw backplate, wired to a standard wall switch — no dimmer module or special wiring required. The electroplated body is built to hold its finish over years of daily use, while the acrylic shade stays easy to wipe clean, keeping its glass-like clarity intact.
