A Sculptural Silhouette in Stone
A slender brass rod descends from the ceiling and meets a short, ribbed sleeve of natural travertine, beneath which a single sphere of milk-white glass glows. The result is a pendant that reads as much like a small sculpture as it does a light source—quiet, deliberate, and entirely unlike the mass-produced glass domes that fill most lighting aisles.
Travertine, Honestly Textured
Each sleeve is cut and hand-finished from genuine off-white travertine, a stone shaped over millennia by mineral-rich water. Its natural pores, faint striations, and warm sandy tone mean no two pendants are ever quite identical—this is texture as character, not imperfection. The stone is left with a soft, tactile finish rather than a high polish, keeping the piece grounded and organic.
A Warm, Diffused Glow
Beneath the stone sits a large, globe-style bulb (not included, standard E27 fitting) that casts a warm white light downward and outward through its opal glass. By day the piece sits quietly as an object; by night it becomes a soft pool of light—ideal for bedside reading, an entry console, or grouped in twos and threes above a dining table.
Considered, Compact Proportions
The fixture measures roughly 27 cm from mount to the base of the bulb and 10 cm across at its widest, with the travertine sleeve itself just 8 cm in diameter.
