The Fernex reimagines the staircase chandelier as a slow-falling cascade of light. Dozens of hand-textured glass forms — irregular, organic, faintly reminiscent of river stones or open shells — drift down a single fixture point on fine cables of varying length, each cradling a warm point of LED light. Suspended above a spiral stair, a double-height entrance, or a dining room with real ceiling height to spare, it reads less like a light fitting and more like something suspended in mid-air.

Hand-Textured Glass, Never Two Alike

Every shade is pressed from textured glass with a soft, wave-like surface that catches light unevenly — the same quality that makes hand-finished glass feel alive rather than manufactured. No two pieces fall exactly the same way, which is precisely the point: the fixture is designed to feel gathered rather than assembled, like a cluster of glass caught mid-current.

Two Silhouettes: Cluster or Linear

Choose the Cluster configuration for a spiral staircase, a rounded stairwell, or any space where the fixture should fall as a vertical column — available from an intimate 3-light drop up to a dramatic 18-light installation. Choose the Linear configuration for a straight staircase run, a long hallway, or a rectangular void, with a canopy that spans the ceiling and lets the glass cascade in a line rather than a column. Both silhouettes share the same glass and the same soul — only the geometry changes.

Light That Matches the Moment

The simplest versions give you a single, fixed warm or cool white glow controlled from your existing wall switch — ideal when the fixture is purely architectural. Step up to Remote Dimming for full control over brightness and colour temperature from 3000K to 6000K without leaving the room, or to App + Remote Dimmable for the same control from your phone, layering the Fernex into a smart lighting routine alongside the rest of the home.

Three Glass Tones

Clear glass keeps every LED point sharp and bright, letting the fixture read as pure light and form. Amber warms the whole cascade with a honeyed, candlelit cast. Smoke Grey mutes it into something moodier and more architectural, closer to brushed metal than glass. All three share the same textured surface and the same silhouette options.

Built to Scale With Your Space

From a 3-light cluster suited to a modest stairwell to a 24-light linear installation built for a grand double-height hall, every configuration is sized specifically for its light count — diameter or length, and drop height, both scale with the fixture so proportions stay correct at every size. Drop length is adjustable on site to fit your exact ceiling height. A ceiling canopy is included, and the fixture is compatible with standard AC power worldwide (90–260V).
