A Constellation of Light

Luxford gathers a cluster of hand-blown glass forms and lets them drift — some higher, some lower — down a single suspension point, like clouds caught mid-fall. Each shade is individually shaped, its surface softly marbled and smoked, so that no two catch the light quite the same way. Seen from below, the effect is closer to sculpture than fixture.

Every shade is hand-blown, giving each one its own organic silhouette — irregular, asymmetric, unrepeatable. The smoked glass diffuses the light into a warm, layered glow rather than a single hard point, casting soft shadows that shift as you move around the piece.

Designed for Drama — Stairwells, Atriums, Entrances

Luxford was conceived for the spaces most fixtures can't fill: spiral staircases, double-height entrances, open-plan atriums. Suspended on individually adjustable cables, the cluster can be shaped to follow a curved stair or fall straight through an open void, turning a purely functional space into the centrepiece of the home.

Seven Scales, One Sculpture

Available from 3 to 18 glass heads, Luxford scales from an intimate stairwell accent to a full architectural installation spanning three metres. Every configuration keeps the same hand-finished glass and the same considered, cloud-like composition — only the scale changes.

Considered Illumination

Each head takes a single LED bulb (not included), so you can choose the exact warmth of the glow — we recommend a soft 3000K warm white to match the smoked glass. Wired for a universal 90–260V circuit, Luxford installs cleanly on any standard ceiling canopy.

Built to Last

The suspension hardware and ceiling canopy are finished in brushed stainless steel, engineered to carry the full weight of the cluster without visible strain. Cable lengths are adjustable at installation, so the final composition can be tuned to your ceiling height.
